once upon a time...

this post is previously drafted,
just posting (:

you're no longer you,
and im not longer me.
we're not us anymore,
so i suppose we're never gonna be back in place.

i guess i could say,
it's a brand new start,
with some old memories of each other,
somewhere at the back of the mind.

i kind of like the way we are now,
it makes me smile.
but each time you walk past,
the memories starts playing in my head,
you're so near yet so far.
but when you turn and look right at me,
i know memories are just pure memories.
that look of yours is just no longer the same anymore.

i cannot deny that i missed you,
but at the same time,
i will not choose to turn back time.
cos im also no longer that girl anymore.
